TEN Biobank

The TEN Biobank is a repository place to safely store biological samples (blood, serum, tissue, DNA) donated by patients (informed consent needed) during routine medical procedures that can be used for research. Through this repository, we hope to help international research efforts aimed at providing a better understanding of SJS/TEN. Access to these biological samples is critical to the progression of research and the development of therapies. The donated biological samples will be distributed for use in research studies without the requirement for future patient involvement or any cost to patients. Scientists having a project that is judged as important, novel, a realistically able to improve the current understanding of SJS-TEN (based on scientific merit and feasibility judged by the Governing Board) will be able to apply for access to samples from the Biobank.
